The level of discomfort depends on which type of CO2 laser treatment is used, and every patient is different in their level of pain tolerance. Any possible discomfort can be addressed using a combination of topical and medicinal methods.
You may experience some mild redness or tenderness for a few days after the procedure. Rare side effects include acne flare-ups or pigmentation changes.
